The Gravel & Grain Journal Cover is made from full-grain vegetable-tanned leather — the highest grade available. No splitting, no peeling, no synthetic backing. Just leather, thread, and time. Fits any standard A5 notebook: Leuchtturm1917, Moleskine, or Midori.
Full-grain means something
- The outer surface of the hide is preserved completely — natural markings, character, and all
- Vegetable-tanned in a traditional drum process — no chrome, no shortcuts
- Develops a rich patina over months and years of use
